The Mexico Tigers basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Red Devils to 41 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cortland for a non-league contest on Friday, February 23. Mexico will meet a Purple Tigers team coming off a 52-31 league win over Mexico (Mexico, NY). The Purple Tigers record now stands at 19-1.
