The Hebbronville Longhorns routed the visiting Alice Coyotes softball squad by a final score of 8-0 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Longhorns (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Nixon (Laredo, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Nixon was routed by Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North (Pharr, TX), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

The Coyotes now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Santa Gertrudis Academy for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 22. Alice will meet a Lions squad coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to Calallen (Corpus Christi, TX). The Lions record now stands at 2-1.
