The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Central Wildcats (Baton Rouge, LA) and the host Cedar Creek Cougars (Ruston, LA), saw Central's baseball team gain a win over Cedar Creek by a tally of 7-1.

The Wildcats (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Weston (Jonesboro, LA). The Wolves enter the non-league battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Weston was overwhelmed by Northwood (Shreveport, LA), 13-3, in a non-league battle.
