In Thursday's non-league game, the host Central Lafourche Trojans baseball team scored a close 5-3 victory over the L.W. Higgins Hurricanes.
The Trojans (3-2) will now prepare for their game against South Lafourche (Galliano, LA). The Tarpons enter the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, South Lafourche held off Beau Chene (Arnaudville, LA), 9-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the Hurricanes face the Thomas Jefferson (Gretna, LA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, February 22. L.W. Higgins will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record.
