The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Salmen Spartans (Slidell, LA) and the visiting Kennedy Cougars (New Orleans, LA), saw Salmen's baseball team beat Kennedy by a margin of 12-4.

The Spartans (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Fisher (Lafitte, LA). The Gators enter the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Fisher defeated Madison Prep Academy (Baton Rouge, LA), 17-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Cougars face the John Ehret Patriots (Marrero, LA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, February 21. Kennedy will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Patriots enter the battle with a 2-6 record after their 10-1 non-league loss to Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy (Westwego, LA).
