Maryland High School Basketball - Annapolis defeats Southern

The Annapolis Panthers (Annapolis, MD) basketball were winner over the visiting Southern Bulldogs (Harwood, MD), 56-48 in Thursday's league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 10-11 record. They play next when they host Urbana for a CMC bout on Monday, February 24. Annapolis will play a Hawks team coming off a 62-60 non-league loss to Wilde Lake (Columbia, MD). The Hawks record now stands at 15-6.
With the loss, Southern falls to 13-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Central (Capitol Heights, MD) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, February 21. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 3-16.
