Maryland High School Basketball - Long Reach overwhelms Chesapeake Science Point

The Long Reach Lightning basketball team scored 68 points and limited the host Chesapeake Science Point to 47 in the Lightning non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Lightning now have a 5-16 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Hebron for a Howard County game on Monday, February 24. Long Reach will confront a Vikings team coming off a 81-77 league loss to Hammond (Columbia, MD). The Vikings record now stands at 19-4.
With the loss, Chesapeake Science Point falls to 2-19 on the campaign. The travel to College Park Academy (Riverdale, MD) to confront the in a non-league game on Friday, February 21. The go into the game with a record of 2-16. College Park Academy won 61-17 in their recent league game against International High School at Largo (Largo, MD)
