The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Waco Christian Warriors (Waco, TX) and the visiting Community Christian Lions (Orange, TX), observed Waco Christian's basketball team overcome Community Christian by a margin of 66-49.

The Warriors (7-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Still Creek Christian (Bryan, TX). The Colts come into the non-league challenge with a 22-8 record. In their last challenge, Still Creek Christian dropped by Spring Baptist Academy (Spring, TX), 51-28, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Excel Christian Academy Eagles (Powderly, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 21. Community Christian will attempt to better on its 9-20 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 13-11 record after their 67-39 non-league win over Waco Christian (Waco, TX).
