The Vanguard Christian Knights basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Excel Christian Academy Eagles to 45 in the Knights non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Knights now have a 22-4 record. They play next when they travel to Mercy Prep Academy for a non-league game on Friday, February 21. Vanguard Christian will confront a Royals team coming off a 49-39 non-league loss to Grayson Christian (Sherman, TX). The Royals record now stands at 16-7.

With the loss, Excel Christian Academy falls to 13-12 on the campaign.
