The Highland Park Scots (Dallas, TX) basketball edged the visiting Lufkin Panthers (Lufkin, TX), 53-52 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Scots now possess a 27-7 record. They play next when they travel to West Mesquite for a non-league bout on Monday, February 24. Highland Park will play a Wranglers team coming off a 48-47 non-league win over Belton (Belton, TX). The Wranglers record now stands at 28-3.
With the loss, Lufkin falls to 34-3 on the campaign.
