The Howell Highlanders defeated the host Stevenson Spartans basketball squad by a final score of 49-31 in Thursday's league outing.
Next, the Highlanders clash with the Milford Mavericks (Highland, MI) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, February 26. Howell will attempt to upgrade on its 13-9 season record. The Mavericks come into the outing with a 16-5 record after their 51-39 non-league win over Frankenmuth (Frankenmuth, MI).
The Spartans (10-12) will now prepare for their outing against Churchill (Livonia, MI). The Chargers come into the non-league outing with a 10-12 record. In their last outing, Churchill went down by Salem (Canton, MI), 52-42, in a non-league outing.
