The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Westchester Comets (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting Garfield Bulldogs (Los Angeles, CA), observed Westchester's basketball team knock off Garfield by a score of 51-35.

The Comets (21-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Birmingham (Lake Balboa, CA). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 22-6 record. In their last challenge, Birmingham prevailed over King/Drew (Los Angeles, CA), 63-49, in a non-league challenge.
