The Homer Pelicans basketball team scored 48 points and limited the visiting North Central Hurricanes to 37 in the Pelicans non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Pelicans now possess a 19-9 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Arthur for a non-league game on Monday, February 24. Homer will confront a Tigers team coming off a 49-43 non-league win over Mangham (Mangham, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 12-18.

With the loss, North Central falls to 11-20 on the campaign.
