    In Thursday's non-league test, the Pyramid Lake Lakers (Nixon, NV) basketball squad trounced the visiting McDermitt Bulldogs (McDermitt, NV), by a score of 71-31.

    Next, the Lakers encounter the Pahranagat Valley Panthers (Alamo, NV) in a non-league test, on Friday, February 21. Pyramid Lake will attempt to improve on its 25-5 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 17-8 record after their 37-13 non-league win over Indian Springs (Indian Springs, NV).
