In Thursday's non-league test, the Simley Spartans (Inver Grove Heights, MN) basketball squad defeated the visiting St. Paul Central Minutemen (St. Paul, MN), by a score of 45-35.
Next, the Spartans clash with the Kasson-Mantorville Komets (Kasson, MN) in a non-league test, on Friday, February 21. Simley will attempt to improve on its 6-17 season record.
The Minutemen (8-15) will now prepare for their test against West Lutheran (Plymouth, MN). The Warriors come into the non-league test with a 20-7 record. In their last test, West Lutheran overcame Avail Academy (Minneapolis, MN), 55-20, in a non-league test.
