The Sarasota Sailors lacrosse squad scored 10 points and limited the visiting Cardinal Mooney Cougars to 6 in the Sailors non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Sailors now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Riverview Sarasota for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 26.
With the loss, Cardinal Mooney falls to 0-1 on the year. The Cougars host Lakewood Ranch (Bradenton, FL) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 25. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Lakewood Ranch won 7-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Bishop Verot (Fort Myers, FL)
