The Holtville Vikings (Holtville, CA) soccer nipped the visiting Preuss UCSD Tritons (La Jolla, CA), 2-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Vikings now hold a 12-10 record. They play next when they travel to Coastal Academy for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 25. Holtville will encounter a Stingrays squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Guajome Park Academy (Vista, CA). The Stingrays record now stands at 12-4.
With the loss, Preuss UCSD moves to 9-10 on the year.
