New Mexico High School Baseball - Volcano Vista wallops West Mesa

The Volcano Vista Hawks baseball team scored 21 runs and held the visiting West Mesa Mustangs to 1 in the Hawks non-league win on Thursday.
The Hawks now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Atrisco Heritage Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 25. Volcano Vista will play a Jaguars team coming off a 19-0 non-league win over Manzano (Albuquerque, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, West Mesa drops to 0-1 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Highland (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Hornets in a non-league test on Saturday, February 22. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 0-0.
