The Cypress Bay Lightning (Weston, FL) lacrosse routed the visiting Cooper City Cowboys (Cooper City, FL), 20-3 in Thursday's league outing.
The Lightning now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Cardinal Gibbons for a non-league outing on Monday, February 24. Cypress Bay will face a Chiefs squad coming off a 12-7 non-league loss to Barron Collier (Naples, FL). The Chiefs record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Cooper City falls to 1-3 on the year. The Cowboys host West Broward (Pembroke Pines, FL) to face the Bobcats in a Independent outing on Monday, February 24.
