In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Caruthers Blue Raiders soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Strathmore Spartans.
The Blue Raiders now hold a 12-12 record. They play next when they host Kennedy for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 25. Caruthers will encounter a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Immanuel (Reedley, CA). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 10-7.
With the loss, Strathmore moves to 10-13 on the year.
