The George West Longhorns softball squad (George West, TX), was routed 15-0 in Thursday's non-league contest with the visiting Manvel Mavericks (Manvel, TX)

With the triumph, Manvel improves its record to 6-3 on the year. The Mavericks travel to Shadow Creek (Pearland, TX) to face the Sharks in a 6A Region III District 22 contest on Tuesday, February 25. The Sharks enter the contest with a record of 3-7.

The Longhorns now hold a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Valley Mills for a non-league contest on Friday, February 21.
