The Jefferson Mustangs softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Tivy Antlers to 5 in the Mustangs non-league win on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Providence Catholic for a non-league battle on Friday, February 21.

With the loss, Tivy moves to 6-5 on the season. The Antlers host Floresville (Floresville, TX) to confront the Tigers/Jaguars in a non-league battle on Thursday, February 20. The Tigers/Jaguars come into the battle with a record of 1-6. Floresville lost 18-5 in their recent non-league match against Lehman (Kyle, TX)
