Mississippi High School Baseball - Alcorn Central loses to Mooreville

February 20, 2026: Mooreville, MS 38857

The Mooreville Troopers triumphed over the visiting Alcorn Central Bears baseball squad by a score of 10-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next up, the Troopers battle the New Site Royals (New Site, MS) in a non-league test, on Saturday, February 21. Mooreville will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Royals go into the test with a 3-1 record after their 8-3 non-league win over Wheeler (Wheeler, MS).

With the defeat, Alcorn Central drops to 1-1 on the year. The Bears travel to Myrtle (Myrtle, MS) to play the Hawks in a non-league test on Tuesday, February 24. The Hawks enter the outing with a record of 1-1.
