The Chaparral Lobos triumphed over the visiting Austin Panthers baseball squad by a score of 17-4 in Friday's non-league test.

The Lobos now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mountain View for a non-league test on Saturday, February 21. Chaparral will play a Lobos team coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM). The Lobos record now stands at 3-1.

With the defeat, Austin drops to 0-4 on the year. The Panthers host Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM) to play the Desert Warriors in a non-league test on Saturday, February 21. The Desert Warriors go into the test with a record of 2-0. Santa Teresa won 17-0 in their recent non-league outing against San Elizario (San Elizario, TX)
