The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Whitewright Tigers (Whitewright, TX) and the visiting Howe Bulldogs (Howe, TX), saw Whitewright's baseball team beat Howe by a margin of 10-6.
The Tigers (5-0) will now prepare for their match against Blue Ridge (Blue Ridge, TX). The Tigers come into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Blue Ridge was overwhelmed by Tioga (Tioga, TX), 8-4, in a non-league match.
The Bulldogs now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Whitesboro for a non-league game on Monday, February 23. Howe will face a Bearcats team coming off a 11-3 non-league loss to City View (Wichita Falls, TX). The Bearcats record now stands at 0-1.
