Texas High School Baseball - South Oak Cliff nips Polytechnic

The South Oak Cliff Bears baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Polytechnic Parrots to 8 in the Bears non-league win on Friday.

The Bears now hold a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to DeSoto for a non-league test on Friday, February 20. South Oak Cliff will play a Eagles team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Polytechnic (Fort Worth, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 3-1.

The Parrots (0-4) will now prepare for their outing against South Hills (Fort Worth, TX). The Scorpions come into the 5A Region I District 7 outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, South Hills was nudged by South Oak Cliff (Dallas, TX), 15-8, in a non-league outing.
