In Monday's non-league game, the visiting West Monroe Rebels baseball team scored a tight 8-2 victory over the Airline Vikings.
The Rebels (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Haughton (Haughton, LA). The Buccaneers go into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Haughton tipped Northwood (Shreveport, LA), 8-2, in a non-league game.
The Vikings (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Neville (Monroe, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Neville was overwhelmed by Byrd (Shreveport, LA), 4-2, in a non-league game.
