In Monday's non-league game, the host Ider Hornets baseball team scored a tight 11-7 victory over the Gaston Bulldogs.
The Hornets (4-0) will now prepare for their game against Dade County (Trenton, GA). The Wolverines go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Dade County tipped North Jackson (Stevenson, AL), 7-1, in a non-league game.
