The Sharyland Rattlers baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Lopez Lobos to 1 in the Rattlers non-league victory on Monday.
The Rattlers (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Harlingen South (Harlingen, TX). The Hawks go into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Harlingen South was overwhelmed by Weslaco East (Weslaco, TX), 13-2, in a non-league match.
The Lobos (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX). The Falcons go into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Los Fresnos ran past Pace (Brownsville, TX), 4-0, in a non-league match.
