The Pequot Lakes Patriots (Pequot Lakes, MN) basketball knocked off the visiting Bemidji Lumberjacks (Bemidji, MN), 68-57 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Patriots (15-5) will now prepare for their test against Staples-Motley (Staples, MN). The Cardinals go into the AA Section 7 test with a 8-10 record. In their last test, Staples-Motley went down by Detroit Lakes (Detroit Lakes, MN), 81-51, in a non-league test.
The Lumberjacks now own a 13-10 record. They play next when they travel to Mahtomedi for a non-league test on Friday, February 24. Bemidji will encounter a Zephyrs squad coming off a 75-42 non-league win over Simley (Inver Grove Heights, MN). The Zephyrs record now stands at 20-3.
