In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Calais Blue Devils (Calais, ME) basketball squad beat the host Penobscot Valley Howlers (Howland, ME), by a count of 46-36.
The Blue Devils (16-3) will now prepare for their outing against Fort Fairfield (Fort Fairfield, ME). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 15-5 record. In their last outing, Fort Fairfield defeated Woodland (Baileyville, ME), 52-50, in a non-league outing.
The Howlers now hold a 11-9 record.
