The Miller Career Academy basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Gateway Legacy Christian Academy Lions to 33 in the non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The now sport a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gateway Tech for a Public contest on Wednesday, February 22. Miller Career Academy will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 90-28 league loss to Vashon (St. Louis, MO). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-4.

The Lions (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Jefferson City (Jefferson City, MO). The Jays enter the non-league contest with a 18-7 record. In their last contest, Jefferson City was routed by Battle (Columbia, MO), 70-68, in a league contest.
