The Giltner Hornets (Giltner, NE) basketball nipped the host St. Edward Beavers (St. Edward, NE), 37-33 in Tuesday's league test.
The Hornets (8-12) will now prepare for their test against Fullerton (Fullerton, NE). The Warriors go into the D2 District 6 test with a 9-15 record. In their last test, Fullerton got by Hampton (Hampton, NE), 56-39, in a non-league test.
The Beavers now own a 7-13 record.
