Pinkerton Astros (Derry, NH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Goffstown Grizzlies (Goffstown, NH), 62-53 in a league bout.

With the victory, Pinkerton upgrades its record to 19-1 on the campaign. The Astros travel to Merrimack (Merrimack, NH) to play the Tomahawks in a Division I bout on Friday, February 24. The Tomahawks come into the bout with a record of 7-8. Merrimack lost 70-61 in their recent league bout against Windham (Windham, NH)

Next up, the Grizzlies play the Alvirne Broncos (Hudson, NH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 24. Goffstown will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Broncos come into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 82-56 non-league loss to Bedford (Bedford, NH).
