Michigan High School Basketball - Tri County Area ripped by Ionia

The Ionia Bulldogs basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Tri County Area Vikings to 45 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sexton for a Capital Area - White contest on Friday, February 24. Ionia will meet a Big Reds team coming off a 70-60 non-league win over Haslett (Haslett, MI). The Big Reds record now stands at 10-9.

The Vikings (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Big Rapids (Big Rapids, MI). The Cardinals enter the Central State - Gold contest with a 16-2 record. In their last contest, Big Rapids was routed by Cadillac (Cadillac, MI), 57-56, in a non-league contest.
