Michigan High School Basketball - Utica can't hold off L'Anse Creuse

The L'Anse Creuse Lancers basketball team scored 88 points and held the host Utica Chieftains to 87 in the Lancers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lancers now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fraser for a non-league contest on Friday, February 24.

The Chieftains (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Warren Woods-Tower (Warren, MI). The Titans enter the non-league contest with a 14-6 record.

The Utica (MI) varsity basketball team lost Tuesday's home conference tournament game against L'Anse Creuse (Harrison Township, MI) by a score of 88-87.
