In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Marathon Olympians basketball team scored a good 66-46 triumph over the Sharon Springs Central Spartans.
In their next game, the Olympians meet the South Kortright Central Rams (South Kortright, NY) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 24. Marathon will attempt to better on its 3-12 season record. The Rams enter the match with a 16-3 record after their 79-32 league win over Gilboa-Conesville Central (Gilboa, NY).
With the defeat, Sharon Springs Central moves to 10-9 on the year.
