North Carolina High School Basketball - Walkertown nips Monroe

Walkertown Wolfpack (Walkertown, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC), 51-48 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Walkertown upgrades its record to 13-13 on the campaign. The Wolfpack travel to Robinson (Concord, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 23. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 21-6. Robinson won 72-37 in their recent non-league bout against Patton (Morganton, NC)
