North Carolina High School Basketball - Cox Mill knocked off by Alexander Central

The Alexander Central Cougars basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Cox Mill Chargers to 37 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 20-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Mecklenburg for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 23. Alexander Central will battle a Vikings team coming off a 67-38 non-league win over McDowell (Marion, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 25-2.
