The Ashe County Huskies topped the visiting Crest Chargers basketball team by a final score of 54-41 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Huskies face the Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 23. Ashe County will attempt to move on its 18-8 season record. The Wolf Pack enter the game with a 22-5 record after their 52-49 non-league win over Hickory (Hickory, NC).

With the defeat, Crest moves to 13-13 on the year.
