The Cherokee Braves routed the visiting Highland Tech Rams basketball team by a final score of 78-25 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Braves face the Mount Airy Granite Bears (Mount Airy, NC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 23. Cherokee will attempt to move on its 24-3 season record. The Granite Bears enter the game with a 16-10 record after their 44-40 non-league win over Thomas Jefferson (Mooresboro, NC).
With the defeat, Highland Tech moves to 7-18 on the year.
