The South Lenoir Blue Devils ran past the host East Carteret Mariners basketball team by a final score of 55-47 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Blue Devils face the Fairmont Golden Tornadoes (Fairmont, NC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 23. South Lenoir will attempt to move on its 14-10 season record. The Golden Tornadoes enter the game with a 23-4 record after their 43-17 non-league win over North Johnston (Kenly, NC).
With the defeat, East Carteret moves to 22-3 on the year.
