North Carolina High School Basketball - Falls Lake crushes Pender

Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pender Patriots (Burgaw, NC), 73-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Falls Lake upgrades its record to 28-0 on the season. The Firebirds host Triangle Math & Science (Cary, NC) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 23. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 16-7. Triangle Math & Science won 65-35 in their recent non-league bout against Weldon (Weldon, NC)
