Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Lakeview Huskies (St. Clair Shores, MI), 51-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Grosse Pointe South upgrades its record to 12-9 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Edison Academy (Detroit, MI) to play the Pioneers in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 23. The Pioneers come into the bout with a record of 19-3. Edison Academy won 53-40 in their recent non-league bout against La Lumiere (La Porte, IN)

Next up, the Huskies play the Tournament Opponent (, ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 27. Lakeview will attempt to upgrade on its 10-12 season record.
