In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Vestaburg Wolverines (Vestaburg, MI) basketball squad felled the visiting Harrison Hornets (Harrison, MI), by a margin of 42-32.
The Wolverines (6-15) will now prepare for their outing against Montabella (Blanchard, MI). The Mustangs go into the Mid-State outing with a 5-15 record. In their last outing, Montabella was beaten by Merrill (Merrill, MI), 32-28, in a league outing.
The Hornets now own a 3-16 record. They play next when they travel to Clare for a Jack Pine outing on Thursday, February 23. Harrison will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 42-34 league loss to Farwell (Farwell, MI). The Pioneers record now stands at 12-9.
