Wakefield Wolverines (Raleigh, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Jordan Falcons (Durham, NC), 47-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wakefield upgrades its record to 19-8 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Hillside (Durham, NC) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 23. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 22-3. Hillside won 61-13 in their recent non-league bout against New Hanover (Wilmington, NC)
