The Kearny Kardinals topped the visiting Ridgewood Maroons basketball team by a final score of 50-38 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Kardinals face the Columbia Cougars (Maplewood, NJ) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 23. Kearny will attempt to move on its 18-5 season record. The Cougars enter the game with a 10-13 record after their 46-21 non-league win over Montclair (Montclair, NJ).
With the defeat, Ridgewood moves to 9-13 on the year.
