The West Orange Mountaineers basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Memorial Tigers to 27 in the Mountaineers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mountaineers now sport a 12-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union City for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 23. West Orange will battle a Soaring Eagles team coming off a 54-30 non-league win over Passaic (Passaic, NJ). The Soaring Eagles record now stands at 16-6.

This game is a part of the 2023 NJSIAA Girls Basketball State Championships (New Jersey) - North Jersey Section 1 Group 4 tournament
