North Carolina High School Basketball - Rockingham County succumbs to Northwest Cabarrus

The Northwest Cabarrus Trojans topped the host Rockingham County Cougars basketball team by a final score of 54-36 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Ben L. Smith Golden Eagles (Greensboro, NC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 23. Northwest Cabarrus will attempt to move on its 16-7 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the game with a 23-2 record after their 71-53 non-league win over Smoky Mountain (Sylva, NC).

With the defeat, Rockingham County moves to 19-6 on the year.
