North Carolina High School Basketball - Porter Ridge nudges Parkland

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC) basketball squad edged the host Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC), by a margin of 61-60.

The Pirates (16-10) will now prepare for their outing against Independence (Charlotte, NC). The Patriots go into the non-league outing with a 25-3 record. In their last outing, Independence held off Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC), 54-50, in a non-league outing.

The Mustangs now own a 20-7 record.
